(no subject)
I am no longer a teacher. There is a hint of elation, and a hint of sadness, but mostly I am burned out and numb. Happy to be done, but stressed about the new transition home and them to WM. Tomorrow will be better when I can officially drive away from CMS forever, and at least there will be a real finality to it. And then, straight home to see DJ and Dad, who are helping me move out!
So onto the next big adventure. But, like the counselor told me at ND, I need to stop getting all worked up in the big picture, and deal with small steps. Like entertaining DJ this weekend in Baton Rouge (yay!), and then relaxing for three weeks at home (yay again!).
And teaching will come around again soon enough, I suppose.
