Happy Groundhog's Day!
I'm waiting for my ride to Baltimore for a conference. I am not entirely sure how I ended up getting to go. I am very excited about it but a bit apprehensive as well. I don't know what to expect. I couldn't sleep last night, partly my own fault for staying up too late, I missed the easy to sleep time by staying up reading a bit, and of course the reading got me excited so I kept thinking rather than sleeping. Oh, my ride finally showed up so now I'm going to have to go. I was planning to watch the new SGA episode while I waited, but I ended up getting here later than I thought, then I panicked when someone else showed up and shut it all down. Then I waited for a half hour when I could've seen the rest of the episode. :( Oh well. It's something to look forward to next week? The IASTS conference is today and tomorrow, and yesterday actually but they decided not to go, I guess since no one from here was presenting Thursday. We're going to be late now, it's almost 8 and no one is actually leaving even though the driver showed up. :) I don't know how long it takes to get to Baltimore, but there's probably rush hour traffic in the morning. No continental breakfast for us either. Oh well. I'll give you my impressions of the event afterward. It's my first conference relating to something I am studying. It's rather sad I never made it to a conference as an undergrad. Oh, looks like we're leaving. Later!
