So I found this interview with Yoshiki and Marilyn Manson from after the AGE fashion show. Overall it's pretty funny, but one thing that really irked me was some comments from a woman named Kaori Momoi.
When asked what her thoughts were about seeing Yoshiki in a kimono, she responded, and I quote:
"It makes you want to rape him, don’t you think?"
Dude, even jokingly saying you want to rape someone is not funny. And did I mention she said this IN YOSHIKI'S PRESENCE? You stay fucking classy, bitch.
Later in the interview she goes on to say "It’s amazing how well YOSHIKI speaks English". Well yeah, you kind of pick up on it when you live in America for 15 years (Hell, even Yoshiki himself explained this to her). =\ I really hate it when people act so surprised when Jrockers (or people in general from countries where English isn't the native language for that matter) know how to speak English. It comes across as being pretty damn racist.
In less bitchy/rant-y news, the Fair to Midland show was awesome, and I had a great time. =3 I'll post a full report some time this weekend most likely, since I have another busy day tomorrow. XD"
