This is great; Justin Bieber's "Baby", Death-Metal-style. XD Now if only his music actually sounded more like this, then maybe people would take him seriously. =P

Speaking of, I meant to make a post about how I Am Very Disappoint re: the Glee Justin Bieber episode. D= Yes it was a few weeks ago, but it's still bugging me. =\ I understand Glee is doing a parody, but the episode could have been so much more hilarious. Instead it dissolved into the majority of the Glee club catching "Bieber Fever" (maybe that was their attempt to portray it in an - unfortunately - realistic manner considering the main characters are all in high school, but still, ugh).

Basically, it starts out with Sam trying to win back Quinn by singing Bieber songs, which okay, I can get behind one character being ridiculous enough to think that there's nothing "more rock-and-roll than Justin Bieber", but when every single boy in the Glee club (sans Finn and Kurt) start doing the same thing to impress their girlfriends and it actually WORKS (well, for the most part; Lauren basically said to Puck word-for-word what my thoughts are on Bieber with "except he looks like he's 12 and [thinking Bieber is sexy is] kind of creepy")? Uhhhhh, no.

Also the theme of the episode was "Anthems", but basically none of the songs they sang fit that category at all. Someone explain to me how Justin Friggin Bieber has any music that could possibly be considered "epic" or an "anthem that defines a generation"? There were so many opportunities for REAL anthems (um, hello, you didn't need to look any further than Queen), and instead they pick a highly overrated pop star, wtf. Luckily Sue agreed with this at the end and they sang one of the only good songs of the episode. =P Still not Queen, but to be fair, Puck did sing "Fat-Bottomed Girls" on another recent episode. =3

Anyway, tl;dr - Still <3 Glee, but no more Bieber, for everyone's sake. D= Unless it's Death Metal!Bieber. I can get behind that. =P

glee, rant, fail, lulz
