Speaking of Johnny Weir.
Ugh, all this prejudice against him makes me so sad. D= Especially because he seems like a genuinely awesome person.
To quote from the man himself:
Watching him on Be Good Johnny Weir yesterday, I could tell that he a) is a hard-working perfectionist, b) is artistic (he designs his own costumes!), c) appreciates foreign cultures (he loves Russia the same way I love Japan. Heck, he likes Japan too, and one of his fans there bought him a plushie of Chopper from One Piece, lol), d) is honest and true to himself, and e) loves his family (and therefore the whole "Oh he's not family-friendly enough" thing about him not being allowed on Stars on Ice is, of course, BS =P).
To anyone who isn't a stick-up-their-ass homophobe, Johnny is a fantastic role model. <3

Edit: Apparently
this bitch is "family friendly" enough to be touring with Stars on Ice. I think the implications of what they REALLY mean by "family friendly" (aka homophobic, "respecting-other-cultures-is-UNAMERICAN" bigoted fuckfaces) are pretty obvious.
