This is ridiculous.
I imagine this exchange went on at some point during her community service:
Random kid- Hi.
Alexa Gonzalez- Hi. What are you here for?
Random kid- I shoplifted regularly and bullied a bunch of kids at school. I also bought a pack of cigarettes using the lunch money I stole from them. You?
Alexa- I doodled on a desk.
It happened here in NYC too. And at my school, people doodle on the desks here all the freaking time. They also doodle/write stuff on the walls and even on toilet paper dispensers. So if doodling on a desk is a crime now, half my school is screwed. XD
Seriously though, I know it's kind of vandalism, but still, overreaction much? I mean, can't they focus on kids who are causing actual problems, like bullies?
