Saw Zombieland tonight. It was hilarious. XDXD Lots of laugh-out-loud scenes/lines. Can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. XD It was also really gory at times, but hey, it's a zombie movie. XD
I loved all of the main characters, too. =D Columbus was adorkable, Wichita was gorgeous, that girl from Little Miss Sunshine (she played Little Rock) is always great, and Tallahassee is effing AWESOME. The scene where he single-handedly defeats a mob of zombies after locking himself in one of the carnival game booths freaking defines BADASS. Literally everyone in the theater, myself included, applauded and cheered at the end of that scene. XD I loved Bill Murray's cameo too, even though it sucks that he was killed off. ;_; Luckily he's still alive for realz, and hopefully for a very long time to come. <3
Some of my favorite quotes that I can remember:
Tallahassee: *upon finding a Hummer with a bunch of big guns in the back seat* THANK GOD FOR REDNECKS!!!
Colombus: *to Tallahassee, shortly after Tallahassee interrupts his almost-kiss with Wichita* You're like some cockblocking robot built by the government!
Little Rock: Who's Bill Murray?
Tallahassee: That's like asking who Ghandi is!
Little Rock: Who's Ghandi?
And of course the running joke about "Rule #2: DOUBLE TAP!". Heck the whole zombie survival guide thing was awesome. XD Reminded me of the Evil Overlord list.
Also, the scene where Wichita, Tallahassee, and Bill Murray, all high on marijuana, re-enact a scene from Ghostbusters. XDXD
Edit: How could I forget the Zombie Kill of the Week scene where the old lady kills a zombie by pulling on a string, causing the zombie to get hit with a falling PIANO? XDXD
So yeah, go see this movie. Srsly. XD
