So I went to the Apple store with dad today to finally get my laptop fixed, only to find that a) the cracked screen isn't covered by warranty, and b) to repair it would cost almost as much as to just buy a new computer. D= Which is what I ended up doing, since apparently my laptop is already outdated despite being less than a year old. X_x
Luckily, they did say it would be easy to retrieve the data from my relatively old laptop, and transfer it to my new one. And dad also suggested that my little sister, who's starting college at Washington University (the one in St. Louis), might be able to get the old laptop fixed at a cheaper rate there than the Apple store would charge, and then she can keep it afterwards. XD"
Here's hoping I becme less of a clumsy klutz, or at least make sure not to accidentally break any more computer screens. XD"
But hey, the bright side is that this gave me an excuse to have a new computer for when Sims 3 comes out. XD
