Most. Disappointing. Finale. Ever.
'kay, so let me get this straight: Tim Kring decided to kill off Nathan for realz in an incredibly quick and anti-climactic way (Sylar slit his throat), then decided that Nathan will live on as Sylar after Matt erases Sylar's memories (which, btw, Sylar spent the whole season trying to find) and replaces them with Nathan's? And that nobody will be even the slightest bit suspicious about Nathan's death because due to Sylar's shapeshifting abilities he looks like Nathan, too? That's just not right. >_>
First of all, even with the same memories and looks, it's still not Nathan, as far as I'm concerned. Unless Matt had extracted the memories directly from the real Nathan (which he didn't), Sylar!Nathan is essentially just a Nathan clone.
Second, why is nobody else (besides of course Angela, HRG, and Matt, who know about what happened with Sylar and Nathan) uber suspicious that Sylar "died" so easily? I mean, considering how hard it is to kill him for realz and all.
And third, why couldn't Angela just have Claire heal him? O_o
Also, my friend who's a Trekkie says that this exact same twist happened in Star Trek.
And overall this episode felt really anticlimactic, especially since the previous two episodes before this were really great.
On the positive side, there were some good parts of the finale. The Chief of Staff guy seemed cool. I also liked HRG's like to the Hunter: "And then you got into bed with Sylar". SO TRUE OMG. XDXD I'm not the only one who saw all the Sylar/Hunter OTP evidence this season, right? Riiight? XD"
And on the neutral side, is Tracy back? Or is this another one of her clone sisters? I mean, Tracy used ice for her power, and the woman at the end used water, so those are similar enough that it could still be her. o.o But it could also be someone else entirely once again. XD" Guess we'll see next season. Also, I hope Hiro will be okay. o.o
Oh yeah, and what was with not being able to see the EPIC BATTLE between Nathan and Sylar anyhow? Other than not having the right budget for that apparently? D=
