Two Proms and some scholarships
Wow, its only been a little more then a week since i last updated n
soooooooo much has happened its rediculous...I had prom #1 with Matty
Burns..that was a fun night..then i finished school..the last day i
cried (cause im a loser haha) but Jan gave me a hug..she started to cry
and it was like a chain reaction..next thing i know I'm hugging
Mr.Mcwilliams goodbye n i left taunton high..certainly not for the last
time tho, I went back this week for the senior breakfast and graduation
practice...im in line next to kaitlyn deponte and leah
desjardins..jonas is pretty close by too..
YESTERDAY.....Taunton High Senior Prom...
ahhhh what an event..at first it was pretty much a disaster..everything that could go wrong during the day, went wrong..but in the end it was an amazing night..i got up bright and early around 7.30...went to breakfast with Ms. Katie Bedard..from there she tried to go tanning, but the booth was broke (poor katie yells from the little tanning room "i dont think its working!!" and next thing ya know katies standing outside in a towel with the girl trying to fix it...hahah we would have waited but we had a 10.30 nail appt. and we were running late..so we scooted over to princess nails for pedicures and manicures...i laughed so hard during the pedicure the guy had to stop...he just kept saying "you a funny girl, very funny girl" ***in his chinese accent, of course*** after that my mom picked me up and i ran home to get some last minute stuff done before my hair appt...i get in the car and the flowers she ordered me arent a mini boquet but a hugeeeeeeeeee boquet of long stem roses (they were a monstrosity, and i refused to carry them) hahah so i get to the hairdressers..what happens?? apparently they scheduled me for the week before so they had to squeeze me in between other customers..needless to say my hair looked pretty hawt...so then i get back to the house..speed change and my brother brought me to my grandmothers to meet dennis..of course dennis got there before me and had to be tortured by her haha so we took pics there for a few minutes and headed to the brazilians house, but they werent ready yet so we went back to his house..i met his grandmother, n she seriously has to be the SWEETEST woman everrrr..then we headed to renata n beatrices house to take some pics..some guy driving by dennis n i yelled at dennis for not opening the door for me haha so he opened it the next couple of times for me..lol...after that we went to bailus' park for pics and back to dennis' house for some more pics with his mom..(she bought me a flower cause dennis claimed he didnt know what to get) the lEmo worked out we got to ride in it, and it was a fun ride...hahah dickson and his lemo..after arriving at the dance we got our pics done and ate dinner..then the dancing..hahah poor dennis i kept laughing at him and i tried sooo hard not to lol then i taught him how to dance ;) thats right..i taught someone how to dance :-D so we danced a lot and had a good time..afterwards we spent the rest of the time dropping whitney and rafeal off..i tried to catch a nap, but that didnt happen....so we got back to the renatas and bias house...they went in and changed..we hopped in danillo's van and headed to mcdonalds...got some food..parked in the parking lot and danced to some brazilian music..all in all it was a very good night
Today did nothing till tonight...then i went to the awards ceremony at taunton high..apparently you have to get up on the stage to receive..no one told me that..i wanted to leave but katie wouldnt let me..her family adopted me for the night since no one in mine went :( i got two scholarships..and i got a certificate..i get up on stage im shaking jackmans hand and he says "smile and nod, some of the cert. are messed up so yours is wrong but well fix it later" so i laugh and mine is like charlie craw's hahah..so i have to go tomorrow to pick up my paper haha but tonight i got home..and on my desk was a box..in it was a silver cylinder...engraved saying "Rebecca DeSilva - Class of 2005" for my diploma..on the box my mom wrote "I will always love my fluffy, and I'll always be proud of her...Go get em!" hahah it made my night..(dont ask about the fluffy)
