As much as some women annoy me and make me feel sad for all those before us who worked so hard for equality... I love a good girls night. Last night I spent some good quality time with my two closest friends. One who has been my best friend for many many years and one who just has recently come into my circle of friends, but who is already close in my trust. As I get older I'm come to realize that, even though I've had some amazing guy friends with wonderful insight and compassion, they don't understand how to communicate at all. Men are totally different creatures then women. I can't make a blanket statement because there are definite exceptions, but as a rule they just don't get it. I think this is why women should realize the value of their female relationships. Your best girlfriend can tell when you're anxious about the guy that just walked into the room or pissed about the guy that just walked into the room or tell you to stop being an ass and get over the guy who just walked into the room or just know what you're thinking before you even say it. It's so nice to be loved in that way. I think this is why women get angry with men, because they expect that level of attentiveness in all their relationships and when it becomes clear that it does not exist... it's disappointing.
