(no subject)
Well... I'm here!
"You're where?!" I hear you cry, so, for those of you that dont know (shame on you!) I've finally moved into my Uni hall and I am living all alone now... next door to my friend...
The move over here was pretty uneventful really, though I will never ever trust the bloody Satelite Navigation again. It sent us around a round-about six times! SIX! It kept saying "Go Right on the roundabout, fifth exit then take the exit" and the idiot thing took us down an exit that took us BACK to the same island!!
We gave up on it in the end.
Getting my keys was simple enough.. all we had to do was show them our accomodation offer letter and tell them what room we were allocated and bam! My keys were in my hand. The que for it was good too. Singer hall (one of the other halls) had like 300 people collecting keys so when I got to the place where I had to pick the keys up and I saw the que I was like "oh fab!(sarcasm)" but then a Student Ambassador said "anyone collecting keys for Apollo house?! Go into the marque, there isn't a que for Apollo" so I skipped over 100 people! Gotta love moving into the one no one else wants to come to! :p
Now, the one thing thats mean is my friends room is like double the size of mine!! So harsh! Oh well, I suppose it's not too bad... less to keep clean innit! heh
It was really fun on the pub crawl last night. It was kinda crappy to begin with 'cause there were like 500 students in the SU and we were.. cramped to say the least, but then we got split up into groups (YAY SCOTLAND!!) and it was better because then we could GET to the bar :P
We met a few lads last night too and they were a nice bunch. (Now to remember the names... lol) There was Conan (LOVED his accent, not Scottish but Irish is good too lol) Steve, Scott and... the one I can never remember lol. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it though.
Um.. another party tonight, but gawd knows how I'm gonna fund it, I'm skint already!! Welcome to student life ey? :p
Anyways, I think I'm going to go grab some brekkie. time to fend for myself... *sigh*
