WE WON! 2-1 to Walsall!
Well... haven't posted in here for a while have I?
I thought it was time I popped in a gave you all a little update with what's going on with me, so here I am!
So, since I last posted in here I've sorted my Uni stuff out. I've applied, been accepted to all of them (Whoo!), accepted my offers to Coventry Uni my first choice 'cause it's THE best uni in the world! It's so prettyful and.. well.. pretty! I've accepted Derby Uni too.. that's my my back up incase I die or something in the exams! lol It only wants 2 passes at A2 and I can potentially get 4, and 3 A-C GCSE's and I have 10 so it's all good.
Now all I have to do is sort out my finacnes (Just remembered I need to get a form for that actually...) and then I'm all set.
I have an interview at Hollybush garden centre on Friday so I'm hoping that goes well. I REALLY don't want to go back to the hell hole also known as my job. I hate it soo much! You know what they said to me?! Oooh this riled me up.
Alright, 'cause I'm working at a computer all day I have everything a modern office worker needs; E-Mail, Internet, own log-in... the usual. So I obviously because my crappy job is mind-numbingly boring I figure, to keep myself awake, I'll send an E-Mail to help Soph (my best mate) with sorting MSN out. So I send a few E-Mails helping her out but I work constantly for the rest of the friggin day and get more work done than anyone else in that bloody place did and then they turn around and tell me I can't send E-Mails!
I'm like; Hello! Only perk of the job here people!
THEN just to top if off, they tell me to be more CHEERFUL!!! News-Flash, no one can be cheerful in that soddin place. I'm probably the one that laughs the most there (Gotta keep myself active somehow) and they tell ME to look more cheerful?! I was ready to slap someone when they said that.
Bearing in mind, they tell me this after I've been in Purchase Ledger and guess what people who don't work in there call it? The CRYPT!!! No one speaks!! At all! I don't think I'd mind as much if I hadn't been in Credit Control before, where people actually talk to one another, but I'm used to at least a light chat but noooooo in Purchase friggin Ledger it's "work work work work work" no social aspect at all.
Yes, yes I know that I'm meant to be at work, and not having a social life but still! An occasional sign of life would be nice!
And breathe...
Alright, enough ranting!
Ooooh! I went to Tranmere last night (near Liverpool, 100 miles.. up from me) to watch Walsall FC play against, yes you guessed it, Tranmere Rovers and guess what?! WE WON!!!
I'm not that huge of a fan of football and I went for the social side of things with Sal and Soph but I had an awesome time! It was a little... chilly but we won!!! 2-1 and it was amazing!
The match was really good. You watch most matches and they're all boring (well I think so anyway) but it was a really good one last night.
The chanting was pretty funny actually. All you could hear was about 20 or 30 blokes at the back chanting all sorts of things. My favourite was was for Anthony Gerrard (Stevie Gerrards cousin- Stevie plays for England and Liverpool) I'll *bleep* out the bad bits! :p It goes "He's big! He's Scouse! He'll rob your *bleep*ing house! Ant Gerrard Ant Gerrard!" I heard that alor 'cause he played really well.
And there's one for the Goal-keeper too pretty easy, all it is is "Andy Oakes Oakes Oakes!" Guess what his name is? Hehe.
Don't think they have one for Smith though, he was amazing last night, scored both of our goals and he plays in mid-field!
He scored 41 minutes in, Tranmere equalised at about 62 minutes but we scored again a little after that.
First win away since September apparently. Sal said it was because her Dad wasn't there hehe.
My Leary was playing too. One of the best looking players we have, but he's only on Loan til the end of the season then he's gonna go back to where ever he came from (Luton I think) and we can't sign him 'cause he's too expensive. :(
Oh well... suppose I'll live...
What else? TV! My favourite subject! hehe
I've recently started watching Stargate Atlantis and it's amazing! I watched it before but I had this big ol' thing against it 'cause I was convinced it wasn't going to be as good as SG-1 and so I was sitting there going "This is crap" "That wouldn't have happened in SG-1" "Well that's just wrong" blah blah blah.
You know how I get when I'm convinced I'm not gonna like something (well.. some of you do anyway. :p) I just keep finding faults in everything!
So I didn't like it at first, but I watched it a couple of weeks ago and I was like "Wow!" so I watched it the week after that... and the one after that... and the one after that. Now I'm hooked! Can't get enough of it!
If I get the job at Hollybush (*crosses fingers*) I'm gonna get the first season box set as my box set of my pay-check.
It's a tradition that I get one each time I get paid. Last one was Andromeda, Season 3 and the one before that was Lost.
At the moment I have Stargate SG-1 (Seasons 1-5... still need 6,7,8 and 9 when it comes out), Andromeda (Seasons 1-4.. not sure if I'm gonna get 5), Lost (Season 1)... and that's about it.
Will have Atlantis season 1 soon, and I'll get 2 when it comes out. :)
I do love my box sets... Yeah, I'm sad like that. :p
Oooh! That reminds me! I've discovered that I can make music vids now! I had no idea that I had Movie Maker on this computer, but it looks like I do! I've only done three so far.. all for Lost. Because you Live by Jesse McCartney, Miss Independent by Kelly Clarkson and Ghostbusters theme tune! The last one is meant to be funny, but I haven't uploaded it anywhere yet so I dunno what people wil think about it. *shrug* Ah well.. gives me something to do! :)
