Glad to be home

Oh my, am I glad that this move is OVER! I have told mom that if she ever moves again that she will get movers because it was just Mike, Uncle Mark and myself doing all the moving. Mike and I went out to PA on Monday and took the kids with us. Had a pretty good time, took them to Boyd's Bear Country. The brats didn't want anything there. They each had seen something at the outlets that they wanted. Stephen saw a book on the Civil War and Emily wanted a baby doll. Then they left and Mikey gave me a Tony Stewart bear!! He is so sweet. Then came the craziness. We were supposed to leave on Tuesday, but my great uncle is very ill with cancer and my aunt and uncle wanted to go see him. So, that was an all day adventure because it is 3 hours up and back. Plus, we had to stop at Wal-Mart and Home Depot. It was a VERY long day. Mom and I left on Wednesday, she didn't want to, but Mike was flying in Thursday and I wanted to be there. We stopped Wednesday night at nine in Fayettevile, NC. We made great time, hardly any traffic. Left NC about 7:30am and made it to Ocala about 4:30pm. Mike's plane got in at 7:45, but he didn't get there until 11:30pm because of the idiot driver didn't know where he was going. My aunt and uncle got to FL on Friday night. We started unloading his things that went to his house. Man was it hot too, Friday was the worst. Saturday we unloaded in the shed and put things into mom's new house. Saturday wasn't much better heat wise. After we got done, Mike and I went to the pool, it was really nice, like bath water. Sunday, my uncle took us around town and to his campus. Then we were back home on Monday, went out to dinner to celebrate his new job. He is now working for Season's Pizza. Great benefits, a weeks vacation, 3 personal days, more money. He is starting as an assistant, but after the wedding will be going to manager, and Andy has mentioned franchising to him as well. :D It is really great and I am so happy for him. Guess that is it. Y'll take care!
