They're actually ads for a beauty salon search engine, so the gag is either you used their service and found a good salon, or didn't, and got a bad haircut. XD

I totally think they would have been awesome ads even if they weren't for a search engine, because how could you not want to get your hair styled at a place that's that hilarious?? XD

Like Ho said, yeah, they're a beauty salon search engine, but they could have made that a little clearer in the ad. But, oh, well, I think I'd use them just for being utterly hilarious even if they were a regular salon!
