The only thing I recall that you get for finishing all the sidequests in RW is a special ending, WHICH IS ALWAYS HARD TO GET AND I ALWAYS MISS IT. :< But I want it because apparently it's a special Vaan/Penelo scene, which tugs at my heartstrings something fierce.

.....oh shit I hate you for mentioning that now. Okay. Okay. I guess I should probably try for it, because I'm super weak to getting a) extra scenes and b) bragging rights, but, lord, that many hours of level grinding is going to make me want to cry.

EXCEPT IT MIGHT BE WORTH IT FOR VAAN/PENELO, WHY ARE THEY SO RIDICULOUSLY CUTE?

At least it's not as bad as the KHII one. Completing the game on hard mode or getting 100% completion of Jiminy's journal? NO THANK YOU, JFC. This at least is sort of manageable, I hope.

It's a good boss fight then? Not too rage-inducing? I'm always wary of the final boss fight and whether or not it's going to have, like, SEVEN DIFFERENT FORMS, but possibly I've been playing too much Dragon Quest.

h-hahaha I tried that once and then took a look at the required time for Poster Duty and went FUCK NO.

I assume we're talking about Fury, aka the adorable bunny in my icon?

I hated Poster Duty. It seems like everyone else said that was their favorite and I was like HOW?? My favorite was letter delivery, I got that one down to, like, 10 or 20 seconds cold.

Yes! SUCH A CUTE LITTLE BUNNY. SO MUCH DEATH. ♥ (Actually, I think I was overleveled at the time so it wasn't too hard but I love that the cute little thing was so deadly.)

I... I spent an entire afternoon trying to beat Sephiroth, in tears at the apparent delight he takes in beating little boys? :(

And I wasn't even doing it for my own health, Aine wanted to see the Cloud and Sephiroth cutscene but was not in fact of any use at all in the matter.

I started trying to beat Sephiroth at about level 74 or so. It... did not go well, no.

Eventually I got to about level 97 and finally managed it and the Cloud and Sephiroth cutscenes were totally worth it, but I still have instinctive bursting-into-tears reactions whenever I think about it.

I love that the most powerful boss of the game doesn't even really do anything until you go bother him. He just... stands there. Looking out over Hollow Bastion. ....waiting for Cloud. All right then.
