See, that's not really comforting because all this angst about Bones god damn speech pattern was thought through in the middle of a fic where Kirk keeps ending up in Spock's bed to sleep.

I keep having serious discussions about how Kirk is a needy slut and is weird about touching people, so THAT'S situation normal, at least! orz

Pokemon preys on our OCD nature and thus it does not love us. Though, I do want to do your idea of teams of awesome. Btw, can you collect as many Pokemon as you want? More than one of the same kind? Do you eventually run out of room? Is there a way to release them back into the wild or something?

Ahhh, so you're evolving. You're both kinds of That Fangirl. Though, I actually like the fangirl who angsts about characters' speech patterns, it usually makes for better fic.

Now all you need to do is given one of the crew wings so we can cross the wingfic item off our checklist. :D

well there's like twenty boxes that hold thirty pokemons each, and you can release back into the wild. It's in the move menu when you're dicking around in the storage system.

dude dude dude i literally ripped out three pages because Spock was too emotional and then i worried all over the place because I was giving McCoy a north carolina accent instead of a georgia one. Also I need to watch Amok Time from TOS.

Ahhh, okay, so there'll be room enough for multiple ones and whatever. I don't think I'll actually feel the need to capture one of every kind, I'm not actually that crazy. But as long as I have enough room for the cute ones and my teams, I'll be good.

I take a cold comfort in reflecting that if I have to write ridiculous Spock/Kirk fic it's at least going to involve Spock's traumatic childhood memories of dino footie jammies and his mother's terrifying sense of humor.
