Re: One Love - That's exactly it! I totally understand where (seemingly) half of the fandom is coming from with the PV's Photoshop effects and I can't entirely disagree. But it's Arashi's big gay wedding to each other and how can you really complain about that? Especially when there are pastel rainbow birds on the screen and the PV ends with Arashi as really gay wedding cake toppers! Totally getting gay married to each other and it's like Japan loves us again. ;__;b

Ahh. I was under the impression that they got there around naptime. And yeah, kids are a handful (I'm willing to sell all of mine! For a quarter! Wait, no, I'll give somebody a quarter!) so it probably wasn't the easiest thing to do. I'm just glad they had a day were they weren't running and doing eight million things. I guess my thinking was 'management gave them a slow day'. I feel so bad for them at times--all the stuff they're doing and all the pressure that must go with it--but I also think they've got a good support system in each other.

But DAMN I want to sit them down and feed them. Why is there not a show called 'Arashi Sits Down And Has Three Healthy Meals Today'. With bonus 'Every Member Takes a Nap' footage.

They may have! They got there around... 10am, I think? Which could make sense for a kid that age, assuming they had another nap in the afternoon, but they didn't really say much about what time of day any given moment was, other than that they spent 10 hours there with her. And I'm definitely ALL FOR giving them a slow day! I just worry that... they're Japanese boys in a really insane industry, that they might take the slower days and still not slow down on the rest of their schedules, so they have to try to fit all the stuff they would have otherwise gotten done into the other days or, worse yet, give up some of their days off. SERIOUSLY, YOU GUYS. TAKE A BREAK. WITHOUT ANY CAMERAS AROUND. GET A REAL NAP

Mm, I've already told you most of my thoughts on the PV. Mostly, I'm just hoping they'll do another Aozora Pedal style one again - not necessarily in terms of "plot" or anything (especially because the talking bits thrown into that one were super awkward), but, you know, drama-quality filming, artistic shots, things like that. Ah well, I will keep hoping, and in the meantime, big gay wedding is EPIC

One Love PV: I'd really like to see that as well, another movie-like PV would be great and I'd love more behind the scenes stuff, too. Seriously, part of what made Step and Go so much more fun than it should have been (for me, at least) is seeing all the dorky antics they went through behind the scenes. Also, maybe actually getting them to dance in a PV again sometime might be nice? Like, I appreciate Happiness' dorking around and Step and Go's lolarious high-speed camera stuff and the uber-gay of this one, but. I miss the dancing, too. :Himitsu no Arashi-chan: I really miss the original set, it looked so sleek and clean and modern, plus it IS really early for them to change the set! I realize they're probably trying to tweak things to make the show better and maybe this will make the show feel more intimate (because it did kind of feel like the old one was trying a little too hard, rather than just going with the Arashi we know and love, the dorky boys), so I'm willing to wait and see where it goes. At least it's not as eye-

I can't remember, were they releasing some kind of extra footage with the LE version of One Love, or not? I feel like this isn't the kind of PV where there would be much interesting stuff going on while filming, it seems like it wouldn't have taken that long, but who knows. I'm dying for more backstage footage too. And yes, dancing - We Can Make It was so simple, but it's one of my favorites just because there's dancing and nice colors, and that's really all they need to make an interesting video. It'll be interesting to see what they do for the live performances of One Love when they make the rounds soon

Sho and Koharu-chan were SO CUTE, it's not even funny. (Okay, well, it is, but slf;skfslfl;s he'll be such a good dad,) I enjoyed this week's shows a lot! Though they seem to be reverting to a GRA-esque forum, no? Not that I'm complaining or anything. XD

I really couldn't tell what was going on in the preview, just that they were doing some sort of batshit exercises and a;sdfkjaslkj I WANT THE EPISODE RIGHT NOW OMG. *claws at the walls*

I hope Arashi never tires of putting Sho together with babies because he seems to genuinely love them and just want to spend all the time in the world with them and a;sdlfkjalksj SO MUCH AWESOME AND ADORABLENESS. And it really is like a combination of D no Arashi with Mago Mago Arashi and it's sort of AWESOME for that!

My sister commented while we were watching Himistu that from between the segments today and the previews for the next episode, it's starting to look like ARASHI'S SECRETS OF WOMEN SHOW. Also, Sho/Ohno + babies is the damnest adorable thing EVER though. And right on the heels of the Big Gay Wedding PV, ajfkfkssk;jdk.

I think you've pinned it exactly, it's not that the PV is anything fantastic in terms of visuals or dorkery, but the CONCEPT ITSELF is just too good to hate it. and the Aiba/Jun snuggling. Ajfkfls;. God.

I wondered about that a little! They only had the female guests in their mini-audience this week, so I'm thinking it was deliberate? I-- am not complaining, because it's making for some AWESOME reports on stuff! Seriously, send Arashi out to investigate the secrets of women more often!!

Especially if it involves Sho getting to cuddle with more babies! Seriously, send him back to the maternity ward at a hospital and watch him coo over the babies! I'd watch that EVERY WEEK.

Yes! The PV could have been improved in some ways, but I also think that maybe that would have overwhelmed it. It kind of had an almost simple elegance to it that I really liked. Plus, ad;flkjalskj there was no way you could get any gayer than that or the Aiba/Jun snuggling. HARTS FOREVER.

Though, I'm totally curious what the performances are going to look like, C'MON START DOING TV PROMOTIONS I WANNA SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. XD
