I'd be worried about someone who did try to comment on everything. The world can only have so many crazy people in it and I've already got that covered, there's no need for any more. ^_~ (I'm going to try to take this response in pieces so it doesn't get so long and unweildly like our threads have a tendency to do, since we're both talkers. Good luck with that, eh? XDD)

My personal guess is that he just showed up on Jun's door-step one evening and joined him in his bath - after all, Jun's not only got a big bath, he's also got some kind of DVD/TV playing device in the bathroom. I can't imagine Aiba would be able to resist that! XDD

I try to be objective about it, I'm sure he could just mean that he's been taking showers up until now or doing the washing outside of the tub and then a quick rinse in the water or something. And he probably just means that he's been taking longer baths instead of quicker ones, the kind where you really soak for a long time (which will make you sleepy), but... asd;flkajsl seriously! After all the times Jun's gone on recently about his bath, how long he likes to take and the TV/DVD combo that he has in there, the stuff he likes to use... it's just so easy to make the connection. Especially since Aiba doesn't seem the type for long, relaxing baths, he strikes me more of a shower sort of person, like... whatever, as long as he's clean afterwards, it doesn't matter. So where's this sudden influence coming from?

And from there it's just so easy to imagine him showing up on Jun's doorstep to use his bath--whether or not Jun's already in there. We already know Aiba totally doesn't care about personal boundaries (when it's okay/the other person doesn't really mind), right?

(Though, I've heard stories about how he apparently used to try to do the same thing with Jun--to just barge right in on his post-concert/rehearsal showers--and Jun would have a fit about it, which makes a lot of sense to me, because Jun's lightening up about it, but he's still got serious issues about things like that. I guess he lightened up on that, too, but I think it's still really telling that even with all those MC talks about how everyone shares showers, no one goes near Jun's shower. It's not just pairing off, because everyone wanders into everyone else's shower, but NO ONE goes near Jun's and that kind of makes me love Arashi, because they know it's one of Jun's triggers and that he probably genuinely hates it, so they leave him alone on it. ♥)

Which all makes me think... well, Jun's not going to just let anyone randomly hop into his shower/bath unless there's something going on there, but it totally reads like Aiba's getting this influence from somewhere, so.... >:D

Good luck with that indeed! But it's quite nice to not be the only talker in a thread, it makes things less awkward, if longer...XD

I definitely think that, apart from any tinhatting, it was really Jun's influence that made Aiba decide to take long baths for relaxation. I can't quite imagine Jun sharing his bath, because he needs some sort of private space and the bathroom seems to give him that, but I could imagine him giving Aiba pointers about what kind of oils to use in a bath, or maybe even inviting him over when Aiba's had a really bad day and drawing him a bath, using his own expensive oils to make it especially relaxing and then just leaving Aiba alone in it and just looking in once in a while to make sure Aiba hasn't fallen asleep...

The things with the showers after a concert really strikes me as a winding-down thing. Ohno, Aiba and Nino very much seem to be the kind of people who wind down after a concert by being loud and hyper, so for them, barging into other people's showers and goofing around is a way of getting down from their concert-high. (And while they talk about Ohno and Nino washing each other after a concert, I wouldn't be surprised if that "washing" contained quite an amount of wrestling, too.) Sho seems to be the kind of person who'd dissect the concert verbally and winds down by calmly talking about his experiences with other people, and Jun - if I had to make a guess, I'd think that he's someone who winds down best by being left alone to think about everything quietly and come to terms with any mistakes he might have made and that might be bothering him. So, being who they are, Sho wouldn't participate in the OhmiyaAiba chaos, but he'd probably be able to tolerate it okay, as long as he gets the feeling that there's someone who listens to him voicing his thoughts, and Jun, while he might not exactly wish for his own bathroom with a lock and soundproof walls, might still get extremely nasty if the others disturb him even more than they already do.
Actually, thinking about it, if my theory about Jun's winding-down techniques is correct, I can't help but feel extremely sorry for him. Imagine that: Jun in the very last shower stall, looking for a bit of peace and quiet, while outside his stall, Ohno and Nino play some stupid game that involves lots of laughing and screaming (maybe "Towelman" instead of "Forkman" or something like that?), Aiba supports them by giving them even more ideas and Sho, in the stall next to his, keeps up a running commentary on the concert for anyone who will listen, while Jun himself just wants to BE. LEFT. ALONE!

Oh, man, same here. It can be really exhausting sometimes, but there's usually so much I want to say that I wind up writing comments twice as long as the other person and then feeling badly because I really just can't shut up. XD

I can't quite imagine Jun sharing his bath, because he needs some sort of private space and the bathroom seems to give him that,

This probably makes me a hypocrite after writing questionable bathtime antics, but I actually agree about this. I-- I think you could get him to share his bath as long as he was given a choice about it? If you just barge right in, he'll get pissed about it because Jun's got a very strong sense of personal space, especially when in the shower. But if you let him have a fully-clothed choice about whether or not to join the idiot in the bath/shower, then I can potentially see him agreeing to it, especially with Aiba, who he tends to be very weak to.

(This is setting aside what I think actually happened. Because, yeah. I know they're not actually having tons of bathtub porn outside of my own imagination, but I do think that Aiba's bathing habits almost had to be influenced by Jun. He's said that Jun's influenced him in other ways--like how Jun's gotten him to consider his own actions more before just leaping into things--so this is within the realm of possibility, too. And it's just... it's such a Jun thing and I can see it on a gen level. Jun and Aiba both tend to react to stress the same way, so why not try Matsujun's method of relaxing and then find that he enjoys it, too? It just makes really awesome fodder for shipping, too.)

Otherwise, I think they've all understood that showers are Jun's Alone Time and you leave him alone as much as you can during them. He totally can get just as hyper pre/post-concert as the rest of them (like during that bus trip where Nino was filming and they'd all lost their minds), but in general he's the type to want to relax and calm down and just spend time quietly going through everything in his head, I agree. There's probably a lot of quiet basking in the energy of the crowd and feeling like they put on a really good show and some reflection on any mistakes he may have made or what else he'd like to do to make it more fun for the audience next time around. Aiba, Ohno, and Nino are probably totally excitable, bouncing around the dressing/shower rooms as they work off all the excess energy. They can probably get Sho into it a little, too, despite that he leans towards HEY YOU GUYS I'M TRYING TO TAKE A NORMAL SHOWER HERE SHUT UP because they know he would be sad if they didn't annoy the crap out of him afterwards. ^_~

I don't feel too badly for Jun because I imagine that's probably sort of perfect for him. If he really wanted peace and quiet, he could just go straight home after a quick shower. But he probably likes being on the edge of the craziness without actually being pestered directly. He loves his idiot bandmembers, so their antics probably make him go ~_~ but in that way he wouldn't change for the world. (He just crabs about their weird shower habits during the MCs because that's what makes the whole thing funny. XD)

(Which I think he would probably normally join in on more, but Jun's very... body conscious, I think, despite that he's been doing a lot of almost-shirtless performances lately. I suspect it's only half about wanting some alone time after the concert and more about the sense of vulnerability when you're naked in the shower. He doesn't like being touched without initiating it, it seems like this probably stems from the same place. Which makes me REALLY wonder where that came from.)
