the summer
i realized today why i hated the summer so much. it didn't have so much to do with the humidity (although i hate that too) as it did with the light. it should not be light at 6am. it should be pitch black. therefore, if i don't have to be awake until 7:15am then the sun shouldn't be annoyingly poking itself into my eyes before the alarm clock has the chance to go off. and it's not just the sun in the morning, it's sun at night. i hate light. i am not a daytime person. give me good ol' 3am anytime.
