i was looking up star wars t-shirts for gus, and i found This Site, which you must see if you've ever seen star wars, as everyone on my friends list has, aside from angela. it's okay dear, i know you tried, but to start off with episode two: i don't think anyone could have handled it. don't worry folks, it's just a joke, but very well done, nonetheless.
so, um, i just got back from approximately five days (sat night -thur) with gus (aside from all time spent milling around whilst he was discussing model un, my mortal enemy since january the twenty-ninth). why am i writing everything in arthurian movie english? anywho, it was wunderbar (was it 7/4, gus?). i still have no job, and only wish i could work for like three weeks, anywhere, so long as it didn't interrupt my volunteering at audubon and spending time with my oma. speaking of omas, i just found out mine is trying to sell her house, the house my entire paternal family, of twenty six people, grew up in and has loved for ages. it is seriously one of the saddest things i've heard in a while. instead of my childhood slowly waning away, year, by year, it's going to implode in a matter of weeks. wanh.
i leave, with heart heavy, but renewed hope in the force, and that gus might be able to come visit me soon.
