SPN 7.12
I do appreciate that LJ's terrible new comment scheme periodically reminds me of pretty icons I forgot I had. Like this one. :D
GUYS I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT LOGAN ECHOLLS. Like, I cannot even process the whole Chronos (Kronos?) thing properly because JASON DOHRING'S FACE. AND THEN I HAD SO MANY FEELINGS . I have a tag for this, which I will not use because that would be a spoiler for people not reading under the cut, but ugh. I am usually good about keeping my actor/character lines straight, but NOT RIGHT NOW. He just does things to me, and then I FORGET because I haven't rewatched VMars lately.
Um, basically that means there may be a bunch I missed in this episode. Here is a +/- list:
+ Sheriff Jody! (Jodie?) I really like her and think she's fabulous and want her to be the new Bobby
- the fact that SPN's SPN-ness makes me make OH GOD SHE'S GONNA DIE every time she appears
+ Dean lying on the floor in Sam's exact spot and then carving Sam's name in the baseboard <3
- Dean PLAYING SOMETHING BESIDES SCISSORS IN ROCK PAPER SCISSORS WHAT?
+ Dean in a fedora
+ Sam's entire body and how shirts look ridiculous on him with his SHOULDERS and his tiny waist and maybe he should be shirtless always just sayin'
+ Sam's line about "or do you only go for Dick now?" because Sam teasing Dean is the best <3
+ Dean being a ridiculous fanboy
- That whole thing where all non-Christian gods are still a handwavey, American-Gods-ripoff bit of mythology (and yeah, American Gods didn't do the belief=power thing first, but you can bet that's where Kripke got it) that involves eating people all the time
So basically, it was a win. I also failed to post, but I really liked last week's episode, and how tough and not a stereotypical lesson-imparting kid Krissy was. Ugh, and Dean talking to her and thinking about Sam and their life choices and ugh. <33

Now I am going to snuggle in my down comforter and my flannel sheets and it will be the BEST. Stupid fluctuating weather.
