(no subject)
Well Italy is going well...I've started classes. They're not too bad, I like my Italian class a lot, probably because I feel like I can almost kind of communicate over here haha. It's nice over here though, mostly everyone is really nice and there's a lot to do and I'm finally picking up cooking and getting good at it...Alaina you'd be proud (I hope) haha It's hard not being able to talk to everyone though, my cell phone bill is already going to be bad considering the first few days here. Oh well...it's only 4 months, in the span of your whole life that's nothing, not to mention there's so much to do and so many places to travel to. My roommates are going to London in October to see Panic! At the Disco, and I might go to London but not to the concert...they're good but I don't know we'll see...I just have to find someone to go on the train with me. I'm not going in a plane until I go home...I hate flying! and the trip here was bad enough, never mind any other trips I decide to do. Also we all want to go to Sicily, Paris, perhaps Barcelona and me and Valerie are going on a school trip in November to go skiing in Switzerland! How many people get to say they've been skiing in Switzerland?! So ya there's a lot to look forward to which helps the time pass by quickly.
Thursday night I'm going on a pub crawl which will be fun. I'm just glad that it's not another toga theme...toga's are too darn hot. But ya it's fun...its 20 € to get in, all you can drink beer and wine from 9-10, then we go to 4 pubs and at each pub they have a DJ so you can dance and a free shot at the door. It's definitely a marathon haha or else you're screwed. But I'm excited to do it again because it's just a good time out with everyone. We'll see if I decide to have someone do a body shot off of me again hahahaha...by the way there are pics at www.bestofrome.it just go to the photo gallery for September 1st. They're pretty funny to say the least.
Hmm...what else? I guess there isn't too much right now. Classes are going well, I'm surviving, miss home but nice to get away from Emmanuel for a bit...and that's pretty much it for now. I'll update later though...
