I took my first K.O. Boxing & Kickboxing class last night.

It was pretty awesome. Our instructor is a little asian man named John Kum (pronounced Koom) who is strict and serious business but not in an intimidating way. The beginner section of the class (versus the experienced kids who do their own thing on the other side of the room) is pretty much half my animation class. We basically did stretches, learned what a jab and a hook are and how to bounce around on our toes like Street Fighters in idle mode.
The lesson is only an hour, but it got us going. Lots of repetition, which I really like. Basically, this class seems like it's going to be really fun and I'm super excited for the next 12 weeks.

I had to buy track pants for the class because I straight up don't own any. So I got some at Loblaws. They have stripes. Which means I go fast!
