I was eating some roasted chickpeas today and on the jar it said 'Winner of the Legume Award 2005'
This concerns me. Who actually decides that one legume is more worthy than another? Do they actually commission a board of legume experts? Are there even people out there with enough intimate legume knowledge to say... "This is the best legume evah! It pwns all other legumes"??!
And then I got stuck with a really disturbing question... what did the legume's acceptance speech sound like?
