Disappearin' the Cow
Everyone loves magical trevor, the tricks that he does are ever so clever. Look at him now, disappearin' the cow, where is the cow, hidden the cow! So, anyways, the midterm mayhem is finally over. I haned in my paper last thursday, I hope I did a good job. Had a quiz in companion animals which was easy, then a midterm in nutrition which was so-so. Today, just had my animal health midterm, and some of the questions were kinda vague... but that's to be expected since this is the first time this class has ever been done. I sure hope I did good on all of them. *sigh* Now, my next thing is my companion animals paper due next friday, which might be annoying cuz their instructions for that paper are SOOOO vague. Blah, whatever.
Also, I am taking my buns to the vet this friday. Zoe's eye isn't looking too good and I wanna know if it's actually causing her harm or anything. That and they seem to be drinking a lot more water than usual so I am getting them both checked. $75/rabbit... just for the exam. Unforeseen costs!!! ARG! I really hope I can qualify for some bursaries and whatnot in december. It would really really help. >.O
Gavin left this weekend, Saturday night at midnight or something. He has gone to Manitoba for good, so Shaun and I hung with him for a while on saturday night, and saw him off. Hope everything goes well there :) He arrived safely, which I know cuz he texted me. I'm happy for him :)
I wanna go to the farm of fear this weekend! (http://farmoffear.com/) Friday night peeps! It's open 7pm till 10pm. :) I believe it actually includes the corn maze, judging from the pics. That and a barn and other buildings. Sounds fun! I'm ready to scream XD lol
My daddy's bday this weekend too... and I haven't gotten him anything. Should probably text byron and ask if theyre getting him anything.
Weeeeee. Oh, and Shaun is being silly, cuz I happened to comment on Gerard Butler's nice abs in Law-Abiding Citizen, he's all obsessed about that and wants Gerard Butler abs now. *rolls eyes* silly boy :P
Last Friday night, I went to an Owl banding thingy. Emilie was gonna go with me, but then she was exhausted from studying and being up since 5:30 that morning, so I went by myself. But it was cool, met some cool people. Ashley a girl who has been in a buncha my classes happened to be cousins with the girl I was talking with, Amanda. We all chatted most of the night. Ashley raises her own chickens XD SOOO COOL! She's 4th year an sci I believe, and she pretty much dashed my hopes and dreams of getting into Calgary by telling me what the Calgary rep told the pre-vet club last year. She told me that their emphasis is mainly on the required pre-requisites, which means I would be screwed cuz I got a C+ in Chem 102, which is one of the pre-reqs I'm pretty sure. But I looked at the website, and I don't think they are that focused on the pre-reqs anymore, cuz Ashley told me it was a huge deal to some people, and people like stormed out of that meeting. Oh wells, it's not gonna stop me from trying :)
