Updatish
Jase has duty today, but not too upset. Just having him back home is enough, his work time is not that big of a deal even when it does eat an occasional weekend day. The past few days have been good. Getting back into a routine, getting used to knowing, yes, he really is home and the world is as it should be. He has to go out for a couple days next week to prep for dry dock, but the only nights he's actually going to be gone are the ones I have school on anyways so I won't loose much time that way. Then I have him here for an entire summer and almost all of the fall. Two seasons in a row, that will be a first since we got married. And it's even the good weather seasons! And if he makes Chief he'll be off the boat at the end of this year. Even if he doesn't he should be off the boat before the next long deployment. Much good stuff there.
Game went pretty well yesterday. A few flow problems as we had clean up from several different old scenes to handle and it took a little while for Jase to get fully back into the swing. By the end he was full on though, and when Jase is full on as an ST he's 10 times better than I could ever be at it. Having him there also increases my comfort level and makes me better at what I'm doing. So game should start getting closer and closer to where I feel it really should be.
Not much else right now. Work, school, game, wash, rinse, repeat. This being Sunday I am of course doing Calculus. I'm looking forward to being done with this semester and not working on Calc every Sunday for the summer. I'm still taking classes this summer, but they're English and Public Speaking so they won't eat nearly as much brain capacity or energy.
