(no subject)
Today is a fabulous day. It is Sunday and I don't have to go to work tomorrow. I love this paid holiday thing. Tonight I am going to drive out to my mom's cousin's house and go get dinner with him and his family and my grandma's sister (Maurene) and her husband(Chuck). I think it will be a lot of fun. I haven't seen Chuck and Maurene since my grandma's funeral over two years ago, so it will be nice to see them again. Nice to spend time with family.
Tomorrow I am heading out to Julie's parents' house cause she is throwing a BBQ/pool party for the fourth. Should be good times. I am making up some potato salad for that right now. It will be good to get out and be social. I have been the only one to enter my apartment since Friday so I am starting to miss human contact. Plus I will have a chance to wash and wax my car there before people show up. It is strange not having my own yard where I can do that. My car will love me for it.
Also I talked to my mom today and she said that if I wanted to come home for my B-day that she would pay for half of the ticket. I am so excited that I might be able to go home sooner than expected! It will be great to see my family, even if it is just for the weekend. I will probably fly out Friday night, then fly back either on Sunday or Monday. I just miss my family and people out there a ton so it would be great to see them. Yay.
