I had a very civil conversation with a mutual friend yesterday. We both agreed that the neither of us would get upset for the other's reasonings for their vote. We opposed on our thoughts but we were able to have a good conversation and state our points without fear of slander or anything of that nature

Its the differences that I have with my friends that makes me appreciate them. If all of my friends thought like I do, why would I need friends... It would be like talking to myself all the time, and I can do that anytime I want to.

Thank you for saying this Becca. You said what I've been feeling but haven't managed to be able to say. I too am appalled at the way people are behaving and their inability to understand and respect others opinions.
