"Touchdooooooooooown! Hawks win the championship!"
The roars of the crowd reach deafening levels while the football players hi-five the members of the opposing team, congratulating them on a good game. (And it had been quite a game, with the final score being 46 to 45.)
The winning team, clad in red jerseys with gold numbering, jogs over to the benches to rehydrate, and surround the star of the night. Star quarterback, number 04, is bombarded by his teammates the moment he reaches the benches, and takes off his helmet.
Thanking his cheering teammates rather distractedly, he finally makes it through the mob of testosterone, and manages to sprint over to where two of the cheerleaders are speaking with one another.
The cheerleader who is facing him, a curly-haired girl by the name of Himawari, points to him and says something to her short-haired friend. The quarterback assumes she was informing her friend of his approach, as the other cheerleader whirls around to face him, sapphire eyes alight with boundless amounts of pep and energy.
"Wow, you were so great today, Doumeki-kun!" Himawari greets the teen when he reaches the two. The other cheerleader, by this point, has latched on to the quarterback's arm, snuggling against him quite contentedly.
"Himawari-chan is right. You guys played really well!" the blue-eyed cheerleader confirms, nodding vigorously.
"You guys were good, too," Doumeki counters, "especially you, Watanuki."
The skirt-clad boy flushes, lightly shoving his boyfriend in protest.
"Oh hush, I wasn't that great," he denies, looking flattered all the same.
"Oh, I think you were fantastic," the quarterback states. And, before the thinner boy can reply, he dips his head down slightly, and captures Watanuki's lips in a very passionate (and very public) kiss. Said cheerleader responds immediately, pom-poms flying off in random directions in his haste to wrap his arms around the taller boy's neck, and deepen the kiss.
A little ways away, Himawari and the cheerleading coach look on in poorly disguised glee.
"Doumeki-kun and Watanuki-kun make a good couple, don't they, Yuuko-san?" Himawari gushes.
"Indeed, they do, Himawari-chan. Indeed, they do."

AN: So.. I actually wrote this about a year ago, based on a conversation from fanfiction.net, but I pretty much loved the crack. And I figured it was a good way to sort of ease my way into this LiveJournal thing. And the whole community thing Eheh. There's a follow-up to this that I will post later. In the meantime, Happy Halloween! And enjoy the DouWata crack! xD
