Title: Should've Known Better
Word Count: 220
Characters: Logan, Remy, Bobby

Author's note: A warning that I haven't read an X-book in 5 years.
Logan stood on the deck, watching Remy LeBeau dare Bobby Drake to ever-greater acts of stupidity. If they'd been on a mission, he'd have said something. It was too risky to do on a mission. But they weren't on a mission they were on vacation. Logan sat down in a deck chair, listening to how the dares were escalating while getting a cold beer. He opened the bottle, leaned back, and covered his eyes with his hat. Logan didn't real expect to get any sleep. It was wise of him. One particularly loud explosion nearly rattled his hat off his head. He called out a warning, "Don't make me spill this beer!"
"You going to sleep all day up there, frere?" Remy responded.
"That's the plan," Logan assured him.
He should've known better than to tell them what the plan was, Logan should've expected the snowball, but somehow he was still surprised when it hit his hat. It dribbled down over the rim, and began to melt in cold wet puddles on his shirt. Logan frowned at it briefly. Remy and Bobby were waiting for the explosion. He stood, took the hat, and the shirt off. Once he got the snow off the hat, he sat back down, covering his face once more with the hat. They should've known better.
