I've heard of Yami No Matsuei mentioned a few times in conversations about yaoi, and written it off. I'm not a slash/yaoi fangirl. But, I've got this Viz Summer 2004 Sneak Peek that I got with an order from Right Stuf at some point. It's got about the first 20 pages of a variety of stories in it. I know the samples I read when I first got it were Imadoki! and Mermaid Saga. The other day I realized it included a sample of Red River, and Descendants of Darkness (Yami No Matsuei).
Amazon has been recommending I get Red River so I read it. Imadoki!, Red River, and DoD were the titles in the "Shojo" section so I figured I'd go ahead and try the Descendants of Darkness sample. It didn't seem particularly slashy. I did some looking around online, and I'm still not sure how slashy it actually is. I got the impression the character I liked best is only in the first volume. So anyone out there have any idea if it's something I should bother exploring more?
