I was going to try to do the 2018 Fandom Year in Review meme at some point but realized I couldn't remember for certain which fandoms were new this year or last, or think of what I'm looking forward to this year. I loved the 11th season of New Who, not just the 13th Doctor, but I was disappointed by the final season of Voltron Legendary Defender. I think its best seasons are it's earliest ones, and a good fanfic writer can go to more interesting places from the end of the sixth season than the show did. A lot of the things I wish I could just be excited about this year also make me sad because they're endings. The final season of Shadowhunters, the final How to Train Your Dragon movie, and that's before I get to the Marvel movie with "Endgame" in its title. I'm still physically struggling with recovering from all my medical issues before we get to any of the other kinds of struggling I'm doing. I'm just... blah, but not dead. I am here. I do lurk, and if-when I get to better head space I'm sure I'll have plenty to say. For now, this is all I got.
