But not without people taking pictures featuring me. So. Many. Pictures. Most of them you can see at the
Cirque du Geek Facebook page. I'm the Loki in the Loki hoodie as supposed to the lady who actually made herself a Lady Loki costume. It didn't stop there though. Oh no. I even made the website for the local paper. In their Life and Culture section, posted September 10, is the story
Cirque du Geek Convention Draws Creative Characters to Waterville. I'm clearly visible in two of the six pictures with the story, and one of my arms is visible in a third. I don't think I've ever been photographed that much before in my life. It's a lot to take in. Course I am ridiculously pleased that they got my name spelled right on the individual picture of me for the news story. They did not turn "Bradstreet" into "Broadstreet." ChicagoTARDIS was 2010, and I'm still annoyed they got my last name wrong. I had a ton of fun at Cirque du Geek so I don't mind all the pictures. I'm glad there are ones from more than just the parade at the con's Facebook page. If you give the whole gallery for the con a look, I had the slice of cake with the "eek" on it from the cake that said "Cirque du Geek" on it. What? I went all three days, marched in the parade, and did a quick comedy bit for the Masquerade. If you notice in the Facebook gallery me standing next to a green chair holding my purse up, I am showing off the Glorious Purse I was burdened with to the crowd.
