donna_c_punk responded to the Writer's Block question, "If your life was made into a movie, who would you want to play the leading role," she offered, "if you wanna be in my movie, comment and I'll try to cast you." I, feeling either brave or foolhardy, said, "Cast me if you can." She cast me and how. Near as I can tell from looking at the filmography of Mary Lynn Rajskub at the IMDb, I've loved her for a decade, having first noticed her in Veronica's Closet. I feel both honored and proud Donna picked Mary Lynn to play me. Here are the picture Donna posted of Mary Lynn and her explanation of why she chose her to play me.
The type of character she usually plays is a bit quirky, but definitely knows her shit and isn't afraid to say it, no matter who the hell is in the room. I see her as the perfect actress to play a woman who would say, "Hey, I want a Romana I banner on my DW quiz result and if they won't give it to me, I'll make it myself." :) And it's easy to believe she'd be someone into the things you are.
She closed with, "Hope that works. :)" It more than worked. It brightened my whole week.
