My kitchen is currently filled with smoke, because the Fudgy Fudge Pie I'm baking has a serious dislike for either oil, or being cooked in a metal tin. Last time I cooked it, I didn't need to escape the kitchen and hide in the lounge, but I did cook it in a glass dish with no spray oil to stop it sticking. This time, it looks like all the oil is seperating out to the top (and also the bottom - it appears to be dripping out the tiny gap where the removable bottom doesn't quite meet the rest of the tin) as fast as it can, and then the oven is burning it off instead of cooking my pie... cooking fail!
