(no subject)
Yay! Successfully talked to someone on the phone today! He's going to come meet me this afternoon to look at the storeroom and give us a quote for some shelves (at the moment, the only shelving is some way above my head shelves, and an old bookcase).
This is an accomplishment because I hate talking to people on the phone (even people I know!). But I also feel self-conscious about meeting them face-to-face, and e-mailing people, so really this communication thing doesn't work out well for me. Which especially sucks because I'm in a tech support job where I have to do all three things, all the time. At least I will (in theory) get better if I have to do it all the time?
