"So much to plunder that I think I'll sleep instead"
So yeah...I had my last class of the year on Monday, and it feels pretty good. It would be better if I didn’t still have a final paper to write for my government class (which I’m a bit stressed over, to say the least), as well as a biology exam next week. I am going home for a long weekend though, so that will be fun. I hope I have it in me to balance my fun time with getting the work done that I need to do. I’m going out to dinner on Friday night with my mom and some of the guys that work in our building that have been close friends of ours for years, yet are getting totally shafted by our buildings shitty ass board of directors. Those bastards. After that I’m going to go see STELLA!!!! I can’t wait for that, I know I’m going to laugh my cares away and that’s definitely way over due. I’m hoping my friend Jackie (AKA J. Bro) will be able to make it, as well as little Sean and Missie Lalond. Jackie Lalond. What a starriffic name, don’t you think? I can totally see it in bright lights. Saturday I have to spend time with my dear friend Rebekah, as well as the good ol’ cutco crew...and someway, I want to end up downtown so I can crash at Alison’s dorm room, since she lives a few blocks away from the bus stop in Chinatown.
Tonight i’m cooking dinner for me, Sean, Bnay and Cnay...Real World marathon craziness. Caesar salad, balsamic vinaigrette marinated grilled chicken with cornbread, and then some fresh fruit salad for dessert. Should be splendid. It’s just starting to rain again now, and that peeves me greatly. It makes me feel sleepy, and I don’t really care much for that either. Thunder is annoying, and lightning is really only cool in the summer when it’s dry and it’s bolts crash through the sky, lighting it up to a bright hue of violet. I love that so much. This however, is quite different.
Alright, I think I need to go do something borderline productive, like reread government junk for my paper, even though I’ve read the relevant chapters about three times each, and they don’t seem to stick. I HATE IT!
