one of my favorite things in the entire world:
when the ocean is really clear-
you can see the bottom if you squint-
you can see your hands -
and when youre swimming, your hands push out in front of you and you can see their reflection on the bottom of the surface, like a mirror.
you let out all your air and sink to the bottom,
and watch the waves roll over you as you watch the shiny surface.
the only noise you can hear is the silence and the occasional wave breaking against the shore,
and all you see is the distorted sun and wavy clouds with a greenish sky as their backdrop.
