“Is Sian here?” I ask Katy.

“Sophie please say you're coming to take her home?” Katy pleads. Just then Chesney appears at the door.

“Oh Sophie yes, you are coming to take her home, right?” Chesney asks.

“Well, it's not really up to me.” I reply knowing how stubborn Sian can be. “So... Is she in?”

“Yep she has currently taken over our living room. Go in and speak to her if you can make your way past the jungle of mess she's made. And she's been really quite for almost an hour now, so I'm guessing she's asleep. Bless her.” Katy giggles.

“But please Sophie, go in there and convince her to go home. You're the only one who she's ever listened to.” Chesney says, gesturing for me to enter the house. “Just go ahead to the living room. We'll be through right here.”

“Cheers Katy.” I say as I walk past them and slowly open the living room door. “Sian?” I say stepping into the room. “Sia-Ah, shit.” I squeal lifting my foot up, looking down to find out I'd just stepped on a large packet of crisps causing the bag to burst and the crisps to all pile out onto the floor. I look around at the rest of the floor, or should I say what I can see of the floor. The majority of it being surrounded by wrappers, random pieces of half eaten food, dirty dishes and beer cans. Katy wasn't joking about the mess. I look over to the couch to see Sian peacefully asleep. “Sian?” I say again, carefully walking over to the couch, trying my hardest not to get any food on my shoes. “Siannyyy. Time to wake up.” I Sing.

I get a strange grunt sound from Sian as a response.

“Sian, get your lazy arse up!”

This time I get a vague mumbling sound in return.

“Oh my God Sian, seriously?” I say as I take a step forward and jump on the couch so I am straddling her.

“WHAT? WHO'S THERE?” Sian screams jolting her head up.

“Nice to see you too.” I reply.

“Ugh Sophie get off me. I'm not used to having this much weight on my body at the one time. I may die from having over maximum capacity weight on top of me.” Sian mumbles closing her eyes again.

“Eeek, I've missed you.” I squeal.

“What?” She says, her eyes opening quickly.

“I said I've missed you. Sian please come home, it's so not the same without you. I mean, we've been living together since we were eighteen, I didn't even have any idea how bad living on my own would be. So will you come home?” I ask as a smile forms on Sian's face, but it quickly disappears and she looks at me with a serious expression.

“But Sophie, don't you think it'd be better in the long term?” She asks.

“What? Sian okay if you actually think you moving out would make you better off in the long term don't come back, but I really don't see how considering you don't even have the money to afford your own flat.”

“Well obviously it wouldn't make me any better of Sophie! I'm talking about you.”

“I've already told you, I want you to keep living with me. Why can't you just understand that?”

“Are you sure you're not just saying that because you feel sorry for me?” She asks me. “Because if you are then I-”

“Sian how many times have I got to tell you I want you there?”

“Hmm... Well it is quite nice to hear you say it...” Sian says as she pauses for a moment tapping her fingers on her chin pretending to be thinking. “I'd say, maybe two more times, and then I'm coming home.”

“You are unbelievable.” I tell her as she giggles.

“I'm kidding. Right, lets get going shall we?” She suggests.

“Sian, do you not think you should clean up before we-”

“Not really.” She interrupts.

“Sian!”

“Sophieeee. If you want it clean so badly then you do that. I'm away home. There's no good food here anyway.” She says trying to push me off her.

“Oh no you don't.” I say as I begin tickling her.

“Soph... please... stop... Sophieeee... Okay, okay you win I'll clean this up.” She giggles and I stop tickling her.

“Bye guys. Oh and Sian it was, uh, interesting having you over.” Katy says to us as we leave her and Chesney's house. “Seriously guys come over whenever you like... Maybe just for the day though, eh Sian?” Katy giggled.

“Yeah bye Katy. And thank you.” Sian said sincerely as Katy enveloped her in a hug.

“It's fine honestly. You guys are my best mates. I'll always be here for you. Both of you. And Sian I love spending time with you but boy am I glad to see you go!”

“Oi!” Sian pulls out of the hug, a shocked expression on her face.

“Bye Katy.” I laugh as I grab Sian gently by her arm and pull her out of Katy's front garden and onto the pavement as we walk away.

“Glad to see me go? What's that supposed to mean.” Sian mumbles as we walk home, making me laugh.

“I told you Sian... You're an absolute nightmare to live with.”

“Then why did you tell me you wanted me to stay?” She asks looking up to me with a puzzled look on her face.

“Because.” I reply. “You're my nightmare to live with.”

“Err, thanks... I think.”
