Hey everyone! :)
Sorry but this is quite a short update (and a kind of crappy one :/ ) I'm going to Tenerife tomorrow and won't get back until next Saturday, so I wanted to give you an update before I left, so that you didn't have to wait as long. However, I've been really busy with last minute packing and I have to get up early tomorrow, so this is as good of an update as I had time to do! :)
I hope you enjoy it anyway.
And please please please comment. It would be helpful if I had some more ideas on where you would all like me to go with fic, just so I know what to write. :)
Sophie P.O.V
After a twenty minute car journey of me sleepily resting my head against Sian's shoulder whilst listening to Rosie's confusion as to why Chloe is driving on the wrong side of the road, we drive up a small hill, drive through a huge gate (which opens when we get near it... How cool is that?) and pull up outside a huge, gorgeous, expensive looking building which I'm assuming is Chloe and Darren's house.
"Well guys, here it is; Chez moi!" Chloe giggles as we all step out of the car. I look up to the house in front of me completely mesmerised. I take a quick glance towards Sian to see her just as mesmerised as I am with the house, no, mansion!
It's absolutely enormous, and it looks so modern. It has big, cream walls except from one side of the house which is almost completely made of glass. Chloe leads us through the front door and into the lounge. It consists three large cream sofas and probably one of the biggest TV's I have ever seen. I find myself walking over to the huge glass wall, taking Sian with me as I am holding her hand, not letting go. I look out and the view is amazing. You can see so much from here. It has gotten rather dark outside and the whole city is lit up. I know it might seem quite uncomfortable, having such a large window allowing anyone who passes to look directly into your home, but seeing as we are situated on top of a small hill, with no houses particularly near by, I doubt many people pass.
"It's amazing isn't it?" Sian asks me quietly, resting her head against my shoulder.
"Yeah." I reply. We hear the sound of footsteps behind us and turn around to see a tall man with quite short brown hair making his way down a spiral staircase and into the lounge.
"Oh hey, you're back." The man says as he embraces Chloe in a hug. "Ah, and you must be Sophie and Sian." He looks towards us as we nod and smile. "Meaning that you're Rosie?" He asks her as stops snooping around the lounge admiring it only long enough to look up at the man and nod, before continuing to look around.
"Umm... Who are you?" Rosie asks as she picks up an ornament, examining it.
"Rosie!" I say. I can't believe she's being this rude.
"Haha, it's fine. I'm Darren I live here with Chloe.
"Oh yeah, Chloe's boyfriend. Nice to meet you." Sian says politely.
"Well, my kind of boyfriend." She says as both her and Darren grin at each other. "Basically right, we dated for a bit, then we decided to take it slow, like, really slow and just start of as mates and see how it goes from there, but we were both really lonely as we both had really big houses and we lived on our own, so we sold those houses and bought an even bigger house... As friend's."
"Guys listen I'd love to stay and chat but I have to get back to work. I have a tonne of stuff I need finished by tomorrow, but I'll see you later yeah? If not tomorrow." He smiles to us before kissing Chloe on the cheek and heading back up the staircase.
"Aww he seems dead nice." I say.
"So, what makes you want to take it so slow?" Sian asks.
"You see, Sian, you and Sophie, you didn't just instantly fall in love, did you? You both started out as just friends, right?"
"Oh absolutely. More than you know." Sian giggles as I elbow her side gently.
"Yeah well, as I've told you many times in this past year, I want a relationship just like yours. I want to be certain that we're close enough as friends before we move on to being anything more."
"So you've not like, done it yet?" Rosie asks, completely confused by why somebody would want to take it slow."
"No, I just don't want to rush anything. Sophie, Sian? How did you know how you felt about each other? And how did you know you were ready to be in a relationship
with one another?"
I was about to answer when Sian got there before me.
"Well," Sian starts as I look up to her, intrigued by what she's about to say. "We sort of just, started acting like a couple." She says, putting a slight emphasis on 'acting'. "Didn't we Soph?" Sian says, sniggering slightly.
"What?" I whisper to her.
"You know, we just sort of started acting like a couple... Completely unintentionally of course." She grins and winks at me.
"Oh... Uh... Yeah." I say. "Completely unintentionally..." I say as I notice Rosie bursting out in a fit of laughter, knowing exactly how we got together.
"What's so funny?" Chloe asks, confused by our behaviour.
"Nothing." The three of us say together.
"Right..." Chloe says before giggling. "Well would you like a tour of the house?" She asks, but before I can answer I accidentally let out a big yawn.
"We'd love to." Sian says. "But I think I should probably be getting this one to bed." She giggles looking towards me. It's now that I realise I am leaning against her, probably resting all my weight on her and I am pretty confident that if she were to let go of me my legs would give way, making me fall to the ground. "Could you just show us to our room please?" Sian asks.
"Of course." Chloe smiles and with that she leads Sian and I to one of the spare rooms, with Rosie following behind. It takes five minutes to walk to our room, and I'm pretty sure I'd get lost trying to make my way back to the 'main lounge', as Chloe calls it. Yep, she and Darren have multiple lounges - Five to be precise. And I'm pretty sure we just passed a swimming pool. I really wish I was awake enough to really appreciate it but right now my main priority is waiting until once I get into bed before falling asleep...
"Okay here you go." Chloe says as she opens a door into a bedroom. It's huge, as you can imagine, with a huge TV, huge bed, huge wardrobe and a door at the other side of the room leading into an ensuite.
"Whoa this is amazing!" Sian says, "Isn't it, Soph?"
"Mhh, yeah." I mumble, most likely sounding slightly less enthusiastic as I could, but I'm tired.
"Okay well then I'll leave you two to it." Chloe says as she leaves the room. "Come on Rosie, your room is just down this hall-"
"But I'm not tired." Rosie interrupts her. "Can we go out somewhere?"
"What like, clubbing?" I hear Chloe ask as they both leave the room and begin walking along the hallway.
"Oh em gee! YES!" I hear Rosie squeal.
"Ughh." I groan as I make my over to the bed and plonk myself down in it.
"Soph babe?" Sian asks as she sits on the bed next to me. "You not gonna get changed before you go to sleep?"
"Nah." I mumble. Sian positions herself so she is straddling me. "You're really cute when you're grumpy." She says as she leans forward and kisses me.
"I'm not grumpy." I pout.
"And you're really cute when you pout." She giggles as she leans forward and kisses me again.
"You always say I'm cute." I manage to say between yawns.
"Hmmm... Not always." Sian smiles. "Remember last month, when we went out and you drank too many shots? And when we got home I had to hold your hair back whilst you were throwing up in the toilet?" She asks. I nod slightly, remembering that all too well. "Well, you weren't exactly cute then, babe." She giggles as I join in. "Now come on Soph, get off that sexy, lazy arse of yours and get changed. Your clothes don't look too comfortable to sleep in, darling."
"Ughh okay." I groan as she gets off the bed pulling me up with her, before I gently kiss her on the lips.
