So... most people told me getting my wisdom teeth out would be really easy..(except steph who told me it was hell on earth)...and that mine would really be nothing cuz i only had the top ones and they weren't impacted. Well...let's just say i don't do so well with surgery...cuz i'd say it blows ( Read more... )

fwiw spring break of my junior year of hs I had two seperate root canals, bolts drilled into my upper jaw (football injury wheee), and all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out in the same day/operation (done during spring break obv so I could heal before class, missing out on precious vacation time). I looked like a caveman and it was basically horrible.

you'll feel normal again in like 3 days, though, these things heal vvv quickly. gratz on being a trooper, esp with the IV's. I once had to get an IV taken bc my blood pressure dropped to single-number levels during class and an ambulance took me away :D and my nurse missed my IV the first time and I wanted to kill her but continued being nice and patient. missing twice, i would not have the patience. there are not many worse things than the day after getting your wisdom teeth taken out, so at least you can look at it positively that way :D

i am curious to hear who you want to see win if Germany loses, I am actually surprised you know so much abt soccer as I never bothered to ask. I love it. i was cheering hard for US and Dutch but they both are out :( so England I guess now.

wow...your ordeal makes mine seem like nothing..i definitely admit that I am a bit of a baby about throwing up. but I am doing much better now as predicted! I can almost eat what I want and I'm hoping to start running again tomorrow...I miss it!
I played soccer from age 3 to 15 and reffed for a few years too! =) I was a sweeper. I quite because I got burnt out on playing in ninth grade and have pretty much lost all skill I once had. Alas. Did you play?
If Germany had lost..I would have been all for Argentina. They have a similar playing style--keeping posession, quick passing! But the Germans have been victorious thus far and I am excited! (Lehman is my hero...alongside Klose and Laum!)I was sad that brazil lost as i was really hoping for a brazil-germany final, but france played so well against them. England's loss also dissapointed me...I'm sorry you're losing all ur teams!! who are u for now?? If Germany loses in the semifinals, then I will probably root for France. I was sad to see the Dutch team go as well. They played very well.
well, peace!!

yea i played until my concussion (the one that required the surgeries woo), then the doctors said take up tennis so i don't get another concussion and become braindead or something hah. so tennis since. i was a left winger. i sorta miss soccer but i dont miss all the running. this was the only thing i hated. i hate running for the sake of running.

brazil-germany again would be puke imo unless germany won it all this time around obv, but since brazil is out i have no choice but to root for germany now of course!! i guess if not them, france.
