vroom vroom
I know that I have not really posted about Leeds Festival but I have been busy and now I cant really be bothered! Lets just say that Iit was a great weekend enhanced by good company and good music. It rained like fuck during Muse which meant I could amuse myself by looking at stupid bloody women trawling through mud in flip flops and feel nicely smug that I had taken waterproofs and boots. The walk back the the tent in torrential rain was weary but fun. Ok now on to more recent stuff........
Adele and I went to a car auction today as she needed a new car and we thought she could get a good deal there. Now neither of us really know anything about cars, well the basics but after that we are pretty clueless. The auction itself was in a huge warehouse and you went around all the cars having a look and deciding what you might bid on. So here we were wondering around a warehouse full of cars with lots of men grunting things that I couldnt or didnt understand, it was all very primal. Adele saw a car that she liked the look of and said to me that she would be prepared to go up to around £450 for it which would still have been a good deal but she bid on it and ended up getting it for £180! It was really exciting and I had a really fun day. Adele loves her new car and it is much better than the piece of crap (no offense) that we drove in with and then abandoned in the car park. I am really proud that we actually got something and didnt get ripped off, have checked on the net and her car is worth around £700 - £1000 and it is fully MOT'd and has a CD player which we both got rather excited about. She is using the car to go camping tomorrow for her 30th birthday, Alan, Chris, Julie and Blair are going too but I cant cause I am working, BOO!
