Radiohead and other stuff
Well, its been a good few days. This is mainly as I have not really been at work much this week and the time off has been welcome and allowed me to actually do some fun socializing things. Firstly on Monday I had the chance to see 
blood_milk_sky for the first time over the summer. We were supposed to do something civilised but couldnt think of anything so went to Stavka to drink £1 a go vodka's. Was great to just sit and have a girly chat, well it wasnt really that girly as the the main topic of conversation was wrestling (which she is still totally obsessed with). I never realise how much I miss a bit of female company til I see Suzi, Julie or one of my other few and far between female buddies. I was also very proud of myself as I was in a bar that sold cheap drink and I didnt get totally shitfaced! I was sensible and had a glass of water after every 3 or so drink and I was fine with no hangover the next day, this is definately the way forward.
So yesterday I went to see the mighty RADIOHEAD and they were fucking fan-bloody-tastic. The setlist was pretty much what I would have wanted with the inclusion of Fake Plastic Trees, Just, Karma Police and Creep (this was the last song and without being too crude I nearly came in my pants). I got half way to the toilet before I had to about turn just tot he opening chords of Just and never did end up going for a pee, had to go behind a tree in a park on the way to meet my dad, oh the indignity! The gig was at Meadowbank Staduim in Edinburgh and for a stadium gig the sound was really good. Went through with the two Alan's, we were supposed to meet up with a friend of mine from Uni but that didnt really happen. When we got to Edinburgh we went for lunch and then for a wee wonder. That was a bit of a mistake due to the Edinburgh Festival shennaigans that were occuring all around us. Fucking Drama students, all dramatic n shit, am I wrong with wanting to slap them all repatedly? Dont get me wrong, the Edinburgh festival is great if thats why you are in Edinburgh, but if you are there for non-festival related things then be prepared to want to kill people (drive-by improvisation anyone?). Again although I had a few drinks (you must try vodka and coke with a dash of blackcurrant, its yummy as fuck) I managed to not get too drunk as I knew that today would also be quite busy.
So today I was supposed to be at work for a few hours but I have really bad girl cramp so stayed in bed and felt sorry for myself instead. Also tomorrow I leave to go to Leeds Festival so I should really have packed already. So far I have been to the supermarket for some bits and pieces but not really got any further....I am using the excuse that I am waiting for Alan to bring me over his rucksack so that I can pack properly, no just sheers laziness honest. So I leave in the morning and I cant wait, gonna meet up with some lovely ppl that I havent seen in AGES, see some good music and drink lots of beers. Ooooooo show me heaven!
