fuck me....
so today is kev's b-day. i am taking him to dinner. i was supposed to be off early. then my boss had a lot to do, so i offered to take the day shift so i could get off even earlier. the girl working the night shift called out (perfectly good reason) and now no one can cover. it ALWAYS fucking happens to me. they show up late, there is traffic, a multitude of perfectly fine excuses mean shit when it always seems that i am working when it they have an issue, and i always get screwed. i told my boss that i would normally stay till closing but not today of all days. she may have to come in after all, but she can't be here until at least an hour and a half past the time i am supposed to be done. i will snap in about two minutes if i don't go have a smoke and calm the hell down.
