Back so soon?!
Yeah, it's me. I just had to get this written down. My students had to write essays I guess you could call them. It was like pulling teeth trying to get them to write more than a paragraph. They are in 8th grade for crying out loud! It's not like I asked them to discuss the Theory of Relativity or something. They just had to answer this: "If you could have dinner with any 3 people in the world, living or dead, whom would you choose and why? You may also discuss what you would like to talk to them about."
Easy, right? No limits but their imagination.
One that amused me goes as follows (and I am typing it exactly like he did):
Dinner with Three Heroes
If I could have dinner with any three people I would have to choose you, Miss. Boehm, Carmen Electra, and Bam Margera. I would pick Miss. Boehm because she is the best teacher ever.
I would pick Carmen Electra because I think she is hot. She also has a lot of money so I would make her pay. The third person I would pick is Bam Margera because I think he is extremly funny and I would want to go to his house to hang out. I like his show Viva La Bam.
Those are the people I would choose because they are the people I like and look up to. It's too bad that this will never happen but I don't care.
I will keep on the lookout for other funny ones!
