First day back to work.
Yes that day has come. What a day too. It started out with a really rough night. Chris's brother was up impossibly late and kept waking me up from downstairs. I think I might have got about 2-3 hours of sleep. Lucas woke up at 6:30 this morning. ugh. I go downstairs and his brother is sleeping at the kitchen table. Ugh. I quickly make Lucas some breakfast and bring it up to his room to feed him. Got Sophie up and had a shower. A friend was going to be arriving at the house for 8:30 so we could go to a preview screening of The Smurfs( really good by the way. Not very kid humor but it was really good.)and we had to be there early so we could watch the movie.There was so much secruity for the movie. No cell phones, ipods, yada, yada. After the movie I went home for about a half hour then Chris and the kids took me to work. I arrive and get into the kitchen. I have no pass, no name tag, no locker. Great. Just great. Oh well. One of my co-workers gave me his to use to go and get a uniform. Work was pretty good. Steady not crazy. We had a function in the restaraunt. It went an hour and a half late! Grr. Made me angry. I ended my shift with no really issues. It was nice to be back and see my coworkers again. Here whats going on in there lives. I missed my babies though. That was the hard part. I knew they were with there daddy but its not the same. I get home and Lucas is already in bed. I go and kiss him goodnight. He is sleeping on his belly with his bum in the airs. So cute! Sophie is sleeping on her little couch downstairs. I pick her up and put her in her bed. Chat with Chris a bit. Lucas was good today but Sophie a terror. Not listening and everything. Apparently she ran from Chris in the mall. It took him about 20 mins to find her. OMG!!!!!! Potty training didnt go well either today with him. I hope for his sake tomorrow is better. I work again the same shift tomorrow then am off til next weekend. My feet hurt. I have not stood like that since I was probably 5-6 months pregnant with Lucas. Hopefully I break those shoes in quickly. Have a great night all.
