Weekend.

This weekend was good. The rain kinda sucked but it was overall pretty good. On Friday we took Chris out for his birthday. We went to Julio Barrio. It was good. Although a little expensive for mexican food. None the less really good. After we went home and and had an icecream cake and Chris got his gifts. Saturday Chris went golfing in the morining. He got rained out of one course and then came back to the city and did a short course here. I stayed at home with the kids. Sophie and Lucas have this horrible cough. We were supposed to take them to a baseball game but it was rained out. It would have been there first baseball game. We went out to dinner instead and then came home and rented a movie. Sophie watched the fourth Shrek. She loves it. After Chris and I watched The Social Network. Good movie. Chris caught whatever cold his brother had and is now sick as well. Sunday it was sunny again. I was able to take the kids to the baseball game. Sophie loved it. One of the outfielders gave her a baseball. It was a foul ball. She was happy. Lucas got a home run ball. Unfortunatly the home run wasnt from my team but in the end we did win. :) It was a double header because of the rained out game. We watched the whole first game but the second we were only able to stay for a couple innings. The kids were getting restless and it was getting late for dinner. Chris wasnt able to come with us because he was sick. it would have made the experience better. We went with a friend of mine instead. Maybe next time. Tickets are not too expensive. Its a independent league. I enjoyed it. My mom and stepdad use to take us to games all the time. Now I get to take my kids. :) It was just over an hour bus ride home. Chris ordered some dinner because i got home it was almost 7. Skyped with my mom for a bit. I am heading out to Grande Prairie for a week at the end of the month. Chris is not too happy about us being gone for that long but I miss my mom and would like to spend some time with her. I wish he could get the time off to come with us. His work told him maybe September. Ugh. It better be September. His mom is coming up to visit. It would be nice that Chris had some time off so he could see his mom. September will have been a year since he last saw his mom. It couldnt imagineLucas. I miss my mom after a couple weeks. My mom live and hour flight away, his 4 1/2. Not as easy to get to.Next summer we are going out there for a couple weeks. Im looking forward to it. Chris's mom will get to see the kids, I will get to visit my aunt, we will be able to take the kids to niagra falls and marine land. Looking forward to it. My mom will be coming with us. Best of all it will be good family time. No work interupting us. :)Its a year away but still looking forward to it. Well theres a tanget from my weekend. lol. I went for another driving lesson last night. It was much better than the first time. I felt almost no stress. Drove out towards chestemere and got to do a bit of driving there. Then went to do a bit of highway driving. That was faster than I ever did before. My best friend went with me this time. Talked to me the whole time about random things. It kept me calm. Conqured a bit of my fears. Did a bit of city driving. Still on the outskirts of the city. No major roads for that time of the day. It was a big deal for me. Driving might not be so bad.

Today it is a little cloudy. Not too sunny no rain or wind. My best friend is coming over today. We are planning to go to a farm where you can pick your own fresh fruits and vegetables. I am really looking forward to that! We are going to make a fresh stirfry with the vegetables! Yum. Cant wait. It will also show the kids where their food comes from. Not that they really understand yet, especially Lucas but it will be good times. I will be coating the kids with bug spray. Its just outside of the city. Looking forward to it. My best friend is going to drive out there and I am going to drive back. We shall see how that goes.Must go now. Got to get kids lunch so we are ready to go when Nicole gets here. Later all.
