This last weekend I spent with my family. I went to Edmonton and saw my mom and sister. Its hard enough knowing they are not here in the city but that they are unhappy with the life that they have made up there makes me sad. I miss them and I know that they miss us. But life goes on. The weekend was great. We went shopping, and swimming and generally spent time together. We surprised my mom with family pictures. The photographer was great. I recomend him to anyone. I cant wait to see the pictures. So excited about that. Just from some of the shots he took I know the photos are going to be amazing. I will post when we get the cd of the pictures back. Cant wait! Weekend had some drama but for the most part it was great. If your ever in Edmonton there is this gelato place on whyte. Yum best pink grapefruit sorebet ever! Tried the lime as well and the bubblegum icecream. So good! Also ate at the Mongoli grill for the first time. Yum. You create your own stirfrys and pay by weight. Meal could be as cheap as 10 bucks or up to around 32 or so. Depending on how big you want this stirfry. Plus you get soup to start. I really enjoyed the meal. Shopping was fun. I got a couple new tops. My mom told me to try on this orangy coraly colored top. not a color I would usually try on at all but to humor her I did. I actually loved the color. Especially since I am now sporting my natural hair color. The dark hair with the orangy kinda top...it works and I really liked it although it was kinda see through. I bought a white camisole to wear under it. I let my cousin choose the other one. They were two for 20 or one for 17.50. I got two. Aeronyc is kinda expensive but they were having a pretty big sale so I slurged a bit on myself. Gymboree was also having a huge sale. OMG that store is ridiuclosly expensive for kids clothes but they were having a 25% sale on all regular priced clothing and a an additional 30% off the whole purchase. They also had short sets on for 15 bucks which is unheard of for their clothes. I got the kids some clothes there. I think it was the most expensive purchase of the weekend. The clothes are great though and the will last for as long as the kids are in that size. The clothing is made really well. Once the kids try those outfits on I will take pics and post. I got sophie this really cute Strawberry dress. I cant wait to see her in it! The hotel we stayed in for the first two nights was ok but the one we stayed in the last night was nice. Over all it was a great weekend and I will never be able to hear the words "evasive manuvers" again without laughing or at the very least smiling. The only shadow over the weekend was the pending funeral of my aunt and having to tell my sister that she passed away. I knew it was coming but she didnt. It was rough having to tell her.

Lucas is crawling all over the place now. Its crazy. He crawled for the first time last week and this week he is all over the house main level. He tried to crawl off the hotel beds a few times. Yikes. He is more interactive with his sister now. They have been playing together all morning. Its really cute to see. He loved the waterpark in the mall. He would splash the water. It didnt even bother him when other people would splash water in his face. He skin barely reacted to the water! Yea! I put lotion on him before and after the water. He had only a small rash on his knees and lower back but other than that the rest of the skin remained clear! So happy. Sophie also did great in the water. She has been scared of water since she was a newborn. She has gotten better as she has grown up but still unsure of it and hates when it gets in her face. With that all said she went down these mini waterslides by herself! I was so proud of her.OMG she even got water on her face and didnt freak out. It was great to see. My big girl growing up. Wish I had a waterproof camera so I could have taken pictures of it. Next time I will bring it in anyways. Just keep it outside of the water. We had forgotten to grab swimmers out of the suitcase for the kids. I bought one for Lucas. Then realized I had forgotten to buy one for Sophie. I had the plastic pants for both of them but forgotten the swimmers so I figure the swimmers and the pullups are really similar and it should be fine if I put the plastic pants over them. WRONG! The pullups absorbed the water from the pool until they exploded out the top of the back. The plastic pants contained it so I had no idea until after the pool was done. lol. It was a mess to clean up. Oh well the kids had a great time. It was fun. The pool is huge. The kids pool is big and so is the hot tub. We didnt get to go on the waterslides because the kids are too small to do them and my one sister and best friend dont do the waterslides. Next time when Chris comes(because he will come next time no matter what) I will try some of the slides. It was a good time. Hope all of you had good weekends.

Meme. So I have been seriously slacking on this meme. For it being only 30 days I have already taken that amount of time. lol. Oh well. On to the next song. A song that you listen to when your happy. This one is hard to pick one song. I listen to all music when Im happy. It just increases my mood. It doesnt matter if its a sad song, a happy song, ect. If I am happy its not really going to change it too much. Well depending on the song. I just want it to be a song that i like. For this I debated between Red dirt road By Brooks and Dunn, something cliche like Walking on Sunshine which I love or just a song that I love right now. I chose a song that I love right now. Its Chasing Pavement by Adele. I love her music!!! I recomend it to everyone. Her voice is amazing. She sings a lot of slower song but has a few upbeat ones as well.
