Nearly 17 weeks ....
Since I left Australia :) How crazy is that!? I've managed to see parts of California, Illinois, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachussetts, Florida! Over Xmas, I'm gonna be seeing parts of Philadelphia, Wisconsin and Minnesota. 9 of the 50 States of the USA :)
On the weekend, I encountered my first big winter storm. The snow was up to my knees deep! Was a good work out trying to walk through it to go sledding with Elizabeth out in the back yard!! I have deicded that I really like the snow stuff.. Mind you.. in February I'm probably going to say something different.. but hehe for now it's all good. I have shovelled a bit of snow off the front steps and from around the mailbox last week.. That's a lot of work.. and with all that snow gear on, it actually makes you sweat! Maybe winter time is a good time to lose weight.. all the sledding, sweating, and walking through deep snow :P I do have some pics (down below).. First one is me and Elizabeth outside in the storm :) Couldn't see much at some points.. but it's not as annoying as the rain in your face.. Snow doesn't stick.. except to your clothes.. lol the 2nd one is of Elizabeth standing up in the snow. It comes up to her upper thigh! Not much else to report... Feeling a little homesick now that it's around the holidays.. but I'm sure that Anna will find many things to amuse and keep me occupied while I'm visiting. I'm a little peeved off that I have to work New Years Eve (like as soon as I fly back in from Wisconsin) but oh well.. I'm going to take the kids bowling and we'll make our own fun.
Missing a few people too.. I wish I could be there for those who are going through a rough time lately.. You know who you are! and I love ya! *hugs*
